After helping England claim a sensational 31-26 golden try win over world champions Fiji on Sunday afternoon, former Graeme College exchange student Dan Bibby sang the praises of the Grahamstown school, suggesting a return was on his agenda.

Bibby, who was on exchange from Kirkham Grammar School, said: "I hope everyone [at Graeme]is alright. I had the best experience ever there, and hopefully they'll welcome me back with open arms one day."

Back in the country that was his home for a brief period of his school career, Bibby is preparing to face Scotland in the Cape Town Sevens Cup semi-finals. Should they win, they could potentially face South Africa in the final.

He was part of the Great Britain side that beat the Blitzboks to a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and is confident that the win over Fiji could be a sign that the season ahead is set to yield more success.

"We started off pretty well [at the Olympics]. Unfortunately, we lost against Fiji, but we just beat them now. It shows that week in, week out, things could change. Hopefully, we get a few bounces of the ball our way, and we can go on to the final."
