The body of Port Alfred resident Gina Smith, who was reported missing on Monday 5 December, was today recovered from a vehicle that had plunged down a cliff at Woest Hill on the Southwell Road just outside Grahamstown.

Smith, 42, was last seen around 1pm on Monday 5 December.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender issued a missing persons call along with her photograph and description of her vehicle – a black Fiat Pallio, registration number DWZ 271 EC.
