The East Cape Shotokan-Ryu Karate (ECSR) Grahamstown karateka formed part of the overall winning team at the SECKO Championships.

ECSR placed ahead of 22 rival clubs to win this year’s Championship. In the foreground is the katana sword trophy award for the overall winning club at the Championship.

Having also won the inaugural UWKSA National Championships in March this year, ECSR members will be working hard towards a good showing at the Saska National Championships which will take place at the Fish River Sun Hotel from 6 -9 October.
