Old Andrean Sintu Manjezi has been rewarded for his Currie Cup performances by making the Southern Kings bench for their Super Rugby clash against the Lions this Friday in Johannesburg.

A tall, versatile flanker, Manjezi played in the St. Andrew's College first team from his Grade 10 year (2011) until he matriculated in 2013.

During his matric year, Manjezi was also selected as the Eastern Province Country Districts Craven Week captain.

This season, he has played a prominent role for EP Kings in their Currie Cup qualification campaign – often captaining the side.

Manjezi is joined on the bench by one other player from the Currie Cup side in Jeremy Ward. Meanwhile, Andisa Ntsila will start his first game for the Southern Kings after joining on loan from SWD Eagles on Monday.
