Grahamstown Brumbies 1st rugby side lost 13-37 against Park in the Eastern Province Grand Challenge top ten competition.

Brumbies qualified by finishing fourth in their section of their EP Grand Challenge section. They now face the top five teams from the other Grand Challenge section. 

All Brumbies points came in the first half, with Peter Frans scoring the only try for Brumbies, while Vincent Mains converted the try. Mains was also successful with two penalties, as Brumbies led 13-10 at the half-time break. 

Brumbies will now host PE Harlequins at the Oval on Saturday (9 July).

Matches start at 1pm, with the 1sts playing at 3.30pm.
