After St. Andrew's College (SAC) thrashed St. David's Marist Inanda 52-5 in Cape Town on Saturday, Grocott's Mail spoke to both schools' first team coaches. Here's what they had to say:

Gerry Posthumus (St. Andrew's)

On SAC's performance: "I thought we played reasonably well. We were fairly loose – dropped a lot of balls, which we normally wouldn't have – but it was nice to get back into playing."

On the 47-point margin: "I was a little bit surprised, because I expected a little bit more from St. David's. Their results throughout the season have been quite good, but they obviously brought a young side."

On centre Matt More, who scored 17 points for SAC: "I think he had quite a good run. He's obviously a special player and one that we look forward to seeing more from next year again."

On  prop and captain Sazi Sandi, who scored a try: "He's an outstanding leader and an outstanding player. We're blessed to have him in the team."

Jonny Mallett (St. David's)

On his side and SAC: "I think they took their opportunities. We made a couple of mistakes and they capitalised quite well. I'm a bit disappointed in our defence, but they are a better side and we're hoping to certainly improve on our game."
