K-Day 2016 will be a week to remember. Not only for the winning teams, but for the camaraderie, atmosphere and friendships made and renewed across the schools involved.

Numerous supporters made their way to Grahamstown from various corners of the country, and a number from various parts of the world, to be part of K-Day 2016.

This year’s edition of K-Day was hosted by Kingswood College, with the main netball matches taking place in the spectacular High Performance Centre. The main rugby and hockey games were played on City Lords. The beer tent and food area created a festival atmosphere.

In the U13A events, Kingswood won the rugby 25-24, DSG won the hockey 2-0 as well as the netball 10-8.

At 1st team level, DSG won the netball 33-22 as well as the hockey by 4-0. St Andrew’s beat Kingswood 3-1 in the boy’s hockey, while the main rugby match saw Kingswood win 34-22.
