A 35-year-old man was caught hiding in a ceiling in an Albany Road business on Tuesday (10 May).

Grahamstown police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender, said the keyholder of the business was called by an employee who had reason to believe that there was someone in the roof of the building.

“On opening the premises, the suspect was, indeed, located inside. The SAPS were called and he was subsequently arrested. “He will appear in the Magistrate’s court soon and face a charge of business burglary,” said Govender.
