The Graeme College Senior Choir will host a lunch time concert today with the Main Street Singers, who are touring from the United States. 

The Graeme College Senior Choir will host a lunch time concert today with the Main Street Singers, who are touring from the United States. 

The concert will take place at the Cathedral between 1pm and 2pm, precided by a short organ recital at 12.40pm by Jin Kyung Lim. The conductor is Mark Andrew Shaull. All are welcome and entrance is by donation. Proceeds will go towards the Graeme Choir Touring Fund and the Cathedral Choir School Fund.

Main Street Singers of Los Altos High School perform works ranging from Renaissance to Contemporary. The acclaimed group’s accomplishments have been earmarked by consistently high calibre of repertoire performed with expressive skill and musical nuance. The Main Street Singers comprises 32 talented singers. 

Established in 1985, under the direction of Mark Andrew Shaull, the group has performed 30 yearly international concert tours to 68 countries. Among their many concert opportunities, the Main Street Singers have performed with world-renowned orchestras including the Xiamen Philharmonic, Beijing Youth Philharmonic, San Felice Orchestra of Florence, the Lima Philharmonic, the Brasov Conservatory Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Symphony and the Buenos Aires Conservatory Orchestra.
