A 38-year-old woman was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday 10 January) in Grahamstown.
Police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender, said the arrest followed the fatal stabbing of a young relative of the woman.
She said that details of the incident were unclear and are still being investigated.
Govender added that the suspect faces a charge of murder and will appear in the Grahamstown magistrates court early next week.
