    Swim series at Settlers Dam

    Round One of the Eastern Cape Swimming Series, presented by Zsports Events NPC, will take place at Settlers Dam on Sunday (1 November).

    Round One of the Eastern Cape Swimming Series, presented by Zsports Events NPC, will take place at Settlers Dam on Sunday (1 November).

    The Series caters for all open water swimmers and triathletes and encourages growth in this fun sport. Each race day in the series will be open to both swimsuit and wetsuit swimmers, but official SSA times are only applicable to the swimsuit category in accordance with FINA OWS rules.

    Sunday's race will include the following swim distances:

    10km, 5km (both start at 8.30am),

    3km (10.30am)

    1km (12pm).

    The EC Swim Series will consist of 5 race days, including the NMBA OWS Championships, offering all registered swimmers the ideal opportunity to achieve qualifying SSA times.

    Series race days are scheduled for (all taking place at Settlers Dam):

    • Round 1 – Sunday 1 November
    • Round 2 – Sunday 15 November
    • Round 3 – Sunday 17 January
    • Round 4 – Saturday 7 February [NMB OWS 10km & 3km Champs]
    • Round 5 – Sunday 14 February [NMB OWS 5k)
