It aims to create opportunities for local youth to get together in a safe environment and take part in activities that enrich their lives. It is funded by the founders.

They staged the event with the help of learner, Silindokuhle Sankobe, who was instrumental in gathering the contestants and also with support from local Facebook page, ‘Grahamstown Felebs’.

Dakkie Yam wishes all the students the best of luck in their exams.

Afterwards they are planning an event to celebrate all the learners' hard work and the festive season.
