    Grahamstown and Districts Kennel Club dog show has its annual outing this weekend and organisers are promising a day of fun for the whole family.

    Grahamstown and Districts Kennel Club dog show has its annual outing this weekend and organisers are promising a day of fun for the whole family.

    The show kicks off at PJ Olivier at around 7.30am with the junior handler category and a total of around 340 dogs are expected to take part.

    All breeds are eligible and there are different competition categories such as Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior, Graduate, SA Bred, Veteran, Open & Champions, Baby Puppy and Neutered Dog.

    There are also three handler categories: 8 – 11, 11 – 18 and 18 and over. As well as the showing classes, there are also obedience, agility and jumping competitions with prizes for the top performers.
