    Bid to stop rhino hunt

    A small group of protesters gathered outside the high court in Grahamstown yesterday to protest the planned hunt near Grahamstown in the next few days of a white rhino bull, along with two lions and a buffalo.

    A small group of protesters gathered outside the high court in Grahamstown yesterday to protest the planned hunt near Grahamstown in the next few days of a white rhino bull, along with two lions and a buffalo.

    An application was heard in the high court, in proceedings that began at midday, to halt the hunt at a well known game reserve outside Grahamstown.

    The application continues in the high court today.
