Wooden wendy huts line up opposite the Cathedral, ready and waiting to play their part in Church Square's annual transformation into the vibrant and bustling market that has become a festival must-visit.

Traders use the huts to store their goods over night and then sell their wares under awnings and gazebos in front of them.

Last year there were 10 huts, this year there are 25 – making life easier for those who have travelled a long way to be part of the market.

There are a further 53 other stalls to enjoy – including plenty of delicious food offerings.

There'll also be music and both True FM and Umhlobo Wenene will be broadcasting live from the Square during the course of the festival.

So go along and say hello. Photo: Crystal Warren
