Tomorrow (Wednesday 24 June), at the Joza Indoor Sports Centre, Makana Municipality is holding an Environmental Indaba for Grahamstown, facilitated by Dr John Reynolds from Rhodes and featuring a variety of guest speakers from the municipality who are involved with environmental issues.

There will also be an opportunity for those interested to have their say and for everyone to brainstorm ideas about how to improve the situation. The indaba will run from 10am to 1pm, finishing with a light lunch to encourage networking.

Local environmental organisations have been invited but, even if you are not a member of any such organisation and would like to come, please contact Ndumiso Nongwe, Makana Environmental Manager on ndumisonongwe@makana.gov.za and copy timothybull05@aol.com.
