The audience of invited guests was treated to several speeches before the official cutting of the ribbon.

As soon as the venue was declared open, hoards of residents forced their way through the doors to start gambling.

Oncethings had settled down, Ncebakazi Makehle, chairperson of Goldrush Bingo Eastern Cape handed over laptops and other goods to three local schools.
