This week St Andrew’s were at home to Woodridge College.

On Tuesday 10 February, St Andrew’s beat Woodridge by 109 runs to set up a spot in the EP final against Pearson.

This match took place in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday 11 February. St Andrew’s posted 150/5 in their 20 overs as Ross Vides top-scored with 32. Other contributions came from Tom Lane (27 runs), Gordon Everard (28), Christopher Benjamin (22 not out) and Stuart Hobson (22). Pearson could only manage 83/8 in their 20 overs. Ross Ferguson took three wickets for six runs and Grant Dixon 2/15 as St Andrew’s won by 67 runs.

The regional play-offs will be played against representative school sides from Border, EP, Kei and South Western Districts to determine the overall Eastern Cape winner.

Matches take place at Dale College in King William’s Town. Play-offs were scheduled for 8.30am.

The final is scheduled for 2pm. The winner will represent the Warriors in the national finals of the Under-19 Coca-Cola T20 Schools Challenge.
