    African Connection women’s football club will host a mini tournament on Sunday 18 January as part of its official season opening. 

    African Connection women’s football club will host a mini tournament on Sunday 18 January as part of its official season opening. 

    Team manager, Chris Totobela said the tournament will take place at JD Dlepu Stadium.

    A number of sides have been invited to take part in the 7-a side mini tournament. Totobela said teams can still enter.

    The days fixtures start at 8am will U13, followed by U15s. Its then a veterans side vs local club Love and Peace.

    The main game of the day will see an African Connection Regulars side take on the African Connection Benchwarmers.

    Programme:

    7-a side mini tournament –

    8am to 10am – U13s

    10am to 11am – U15s

    11am – Veterans vs Love and Peace football club

    12am – African Connection Regulars vs African Connection Benchwarmers

    All matches take place at JD Dlepu Stadium
