Over 600 residents and holiday makers took part in the annual Kowie Striders fun run which took place on 26 December in Port Alfred.
Over 600 residents and holiday makers took part in the annual Kowie Striders fun run which took place on 26 December in Port Alfred.
The event was sponsored by Remax Kowie and Compendium Insurance Brokers who provided beer glasses at the finish. “It’s become a collector’s item for some of the runners,” said organiser Lynette Harbrecht about the drinking glasses.
In total 603 runners/walkers took part in the fun run which has become a popular event with holiday makers.
The event was made up of a 5km and 8km which took participants along the Kowie River and through the streets of Port Alfred.
