Two Victoria Primary School pupils took part in the Freda Barnard gala in Outshoorn, withToni Rafferty winning bronze in the U13 50 metre butterfly and Emma Podesta winning bronze in the U11 200 metre freestyle and 50 metre freestyle. The two represented Port Elizabeth base Aquabear Swimming Club. Three Grahamstown swimmers were selected for the Eastern Province schools swimming team to swim in Pretoria in December.
