    CM Vellem Primary School pupils Thandowethu Mchoboki of Makana Karate Club and Thandoxolo Royi of the Joza Karate Club both won gold at the ECSR/Rhodes University championships at the Monument last Saturday. Thandowethu won gold in kumite (fighting) and Thandoxolo won gold in kata (forms).
