People of the City – Meet them Sundays, on your radio.

This week we will be talking to Professor Russell Kaschula, Rhodes University's SARChI Chair in the field of Intellectualisation of African Languages, Multilingualism and Education.

Kaschula believes language is crucial to effect transformation at a university like Rhodes. He was among a group of experts speaking on the topic of multilingualism and Rhodes’ revised language policy recently.

This is the penultimate edition of Radio Grahamstown's 'People of the City' – a show that brings the community closer to the people they look up to.

Listen to Grahamstown's well known citizens as they talk about their lives and their vision.

Tune in to 102.1 fm on Sundays from 5pm to 6pm.
