    Two losses for Kingswood on T20 Day 2

    Kingswood College, representing the Warriors franchise at the under-19 Coca-Cola T20 Schools Cricket challenge suffered two further losses on day two.

    Kingswood College, representing the Warriors franchise at the under-19 Coca-Cola T20 Schools Cricket challenge suffered two further losses on day two.

    The event is taking place at the University of Pretoria’s LC De Villiers complex this weekend. 

    In their morning game, Kingswood faced Grey College (Knights). Kingswood opened the batting ending on 119/9 in their 20 overs. Grey comfortably reached the target of 120 in 14.2 overs.
    Kingswood then lost their afternoon fixture to St Stithians College (Lions) by 119 runs.

    Kingswood are currently lying fifth in the log with one game in hand. They will face Westville Boys High School (Dolphins), at 9.30am on Sunday (5 October).  

    Kingswood’s summarized scores on day two:

    Morning Session

    Kingswood College 119/9 (20/20 ov) (Hertz 37, Coetzee 3/16, Durrow 2/12), Grey College 120/3 (14.4/20 ov) (Bezuidenhout 97 not out). Grey College won by 7 wickets (with 32 balls remaining).

    Afternoon Session

    St Stithians College 214/3 (20/20 ov) (Rickelton 102, Ackerman 42, Vasconcelos 37), Kingswood College 95/9 (20.0/20 ov)(Beauchamp 2/10, Glover 1/5). St Stithians College won by 119 runs.

    Sunday 5 October is the final day of play with the afternoon reserved for the final between the teams that finish first and second on the log.
