In a press release by made by the DA it is alleged that: Templeton Secondary school is bankrupt, while the Department of Education owes it R300 000.
Adelaide Primary School is also owed money to the tune of R771 596. Both schools need the monies to pay teachers to fill unoccupied posts.
Adelaide Primary School lacks the teaching of Grade 6 subjects and a Grade 6 teacher, while Bedford Primary School and Adelaide's Richard Msutu Primary School are in the same straights in terms of Grade 3.
No Grade 4, 5 or 6 subjects are taught at the Elandsdrift Farm School.
Lonwabo Secondary School in Adelaide is unable to teach numerous subjects, including Maths Lit and Life Sciences for Grade 11 and Arts and Culture for Grades 8 and 9.
Sipho Camangu Secondary School in Adelaide is unable to teach Maths and Accounting for Grade 10, 11, and 12, nor are there classes for English for Grade 10, amongst other subjects not taught.
Templeton Secondary School is not teaching senior-level Geography or junior level Social Sciences.
