This comes after a 3-1 victory last weekend against Camdeboo Football Academy.

Both teams advanced to the finals after playing in the group stages last Saturday.

Chris Totobela, African Connection's coach says he is proud of the team and is delighted with the way the team played. It was a weekend full of startling football at Somerset East.

Nwabisa Thelbooi and Makube Qinela, African Connection's strikers found the back of the net in the 1st half of the match, enabling them to defeat Alex United in a 2-0 score.

The team then went to play against Pain Killers.

Thyelbooi opened the score line while Sinazo Nyongoba clinched a brace, with the match ending in a 3-0 score.

In Pool B, Camdeboo Football Academy crushed Chancey United by 6-0 and defeated Alex Bay by 4-0.

African Connection is set to play against the regional league winners in Umtata next month.
