From Saturday 24 May, if you're heading west for a holiday, you can expect to pay R40 at the Tsitsikamma toll plaza. This is the new toll for a family car the South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) announced last Friday 9 May.
The Agency said in a statement that across the board adjustments to tariffs were based on the consumer price index.
"The average CPI adjustment for Sanral toll tariffs is 5.8%," Sanral said. The adjustments were gazetted on Friday 6 May. E-tolling in Gauteng will not be affected.
