Grahamstown local Ben Bezuidenhout is on a week-long fundraising run. Bezuidenhout is running a total of 300 km over seven days to raise funds for the Somerset Place Society Retirement Centre.

Bezuidenhout departed from Grahamstown on Sunday 12 May and will return on Sunday 18 May, finishing at DSG Junior between 10am -10.30am.

Bezuidenhout will be joined by the DSG girls for the last 6 km of the race.

They will run and ride into town together. The riding leg of the run is much shorter this year, due to the African Horse Sickness in the region. All donations are welcome. Photo: Kate Janse van Rensburg
