Rhodes University Archery Club hosted the Eastern Cape Archery Championships on the Great Field over the weekend of 15 and 16 February.

Split into two events, the International Federation of Archery (Fita) took place on Saturday 15 February, while the 720 took place on the Sunday.

Seen below, Travis Pike, Lance Ho and Christo Nel shoot during the Fita round.

The Fita round sees archers shoot from four distances: 90m, 70m, 50m and 30m, while the 720 is shot from 50m.

The Rhodes archers dominated the compound men division, with Lance Ho taking gold, Christo Nel taking silver and Travis Pike taking bronze.

In the 720, Simon Naude took gold, Christo Nel silver and Lance Ho bronze. Yashin Naidoo took gold on both days in the U15 Recurve division.
