Military and police-dog displays, skydivers and even an appearance by good old Father Christmas can be expected at the Annual St Andrew’s Prep Carnival.

Military and police-dog displays, skydivers and even an appearance by good old Father Christmas can be expected at the Annual St Andrew’s Prep Carnival.

All sorts of fun and action will be going down all day at the school’s Fairlawn Fields on Bedford Street this Sunday 24 November.

Local charities and businesses will be manning certain game and food stalls, while benefiting from some of the proceeds.

Organisers suggest you come hungry as there'll be a tea garden and a mouth-watering assortment of sweet and savoury eats.

Christmas shopping can be taken care of among the 15 stalls, including ones by Springvale Olives, Just Pure oils, Bargain Books and Bathurst artist Tori Stowe.

The SANDF will man an obstacle course for all wannabe soldiers. Other activities for the young and young-at-heart are paintball, a climbing wall, ziplines, jumping castles and pony rides.

The bar will be open throughout the day for those needing additional courage for the Bokdrolspoeg kompetisie.

The day concludes with the much anticipated Colour Explosion (with biodegradable powder paint that washes out).
