The coming national elections are only expected to take place in May 2014, but citizens should register to vote now.
This weekend from 9 to 10 November is a national registration weekend, when you can register at your closest voting station between 8am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The voting stations for Grahamstown East still need to be announced. People who are going to be 18 years old by April next year can also register now.
As the registration is ongoing, citizens can also register at the local IEC offices at 20 High Street every weekday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
