Kingswood College has announced the appointment of Paul Guthrie as Head of the Senior School from the beginning of next year.
Kingswood College has announced the appointment of Paul Guthrie as Head of the Senior School from the beginning of next year.
According to a media release from the school, the creation of this new position under College Head Jon Trafford, comes after the restructuring of senior management at the school.
Guthrie, a Wits graduate, is currently Director of Marketing at Hilton College in KwaZulu-Natal. He has over 18 years’ experience teaching Mathematics and has published a number of papers and articles on various topics in education. He was an IEB sub-examiner for Mathematics from 1995 to 2008.
He also run a boarding house and been involved in sports management in cricket at provincial and national level.
Guthrie, according to the statement, helped design and implement the new leadership system at Hilton.
