    Nathaniel Nyaluza celebrates 75 years

    Nathaniel Nyaluza High School celebrated its 75th anniversary last weekend with a sports day, a celebratory dinner and a service at the Grahamstown Methodist Church.

    Nathaniel Nyaluza High School celebrated its 75th anniversary last weekend with a sports day, a celebratory dinner and a service at the Grahamstown Methodist Church.

    In the picture below, principal Zakunzima Tyala and deputy Mahlalatu Diko hold up a framed photograph of 10 pupils from Nathaniel Nyaluza Secondary School from the class of 1976 who received Junior Certificate distinctions.

    Nathaniel Nyaluza was the first school in the Eastern Cape to have a black principal – Benjamin Ezra Mahlasela, after whom a second Grahamstown school was named.
