    VIDEO: Fire guts Nombulelo building

    A fire that had destroyed most of the second floor of a block of toilets at Nombulelo Senior Secondary School on Friday 24 May was almost contained when Grocott's Mail arrived on the scene in the late afternoon.

    A fire that had destroyed most of the second floor of a block of toilets at Nombulelo Senior Secondary School on Friday 24 May was almost contained when Grocott's Mail arrived on the scene in the late afternoon.

    School principal Mthuthuzeli Koliti said he did not know what had caused the fire, but guessed it might have been a cigarette butt or an electrical fault.

    Firefighters at the scene declined to comment.
