African Connection soccer club is currently leading the South African Football Association's regional woman's league. The Grahamstown side have an impressive five-point lead in the Cacadu competition, after only four matches.

The six sides contesting the Cacadu stream are African Connection, AC Milan (Alexandria), Red Stars (Bathurst), Cacadu United (Alexandria), Morning Stars (Port Alfred) and Alex Bay (Alexandria).

Last year's runner's up, Cacadu United, are in fourth spot with only one win, while the newest club in the Cacadu league AC Milan, which joined at the beginning of this season, are in second place. Milan have won two of their games, as have Red Stars.

African Connection have won all four of their matches so far and have 12 points. Milan have seven points and Red Stars six.

African Connection boast a total of 20 goals in their four matches and have not conceded one goal so far during the 2013 league.

The next fixtures for the Cacadu women's league are scheduled for Sunday 21 April. These matches will be played in Alexandria.

The Cacadu women's matches are played every two to three weeks and each club gets to host matches. Each club plays two games on one day.

African Connection will play Red Stars in the morning and Cacadu United in the afternoon.
