The funds will be used for projects that meet the Green Fund criteria.
The Rhodes University Green Fund (RUGF) is a" ring-fenced fund" to be used at Rhodes to reduce the ecological footprint of the University, and enhance sustainability at university and community level, said Kohly.
She added that a project requesting a grant from the RUGF is required to both demonstrate environmental benefits and project sustainability.
