Grahamstown poets, hip-hop artists and graphic designers will be performing tomorrow night at the first Blah Ze Blah event of the year.

The line-up is tight, with Fanatikus, Lucifer, Duke and Main Event, Rumo and many more.

Blah Ze Blah director Sinethemba Konzaphi says the concept aims to bring back the spirit of live music in Grahamstown.

"There is more inspiration in the spirit of live music than listening to CDs and radios," he said.

Konzaphi said the event, at Champs bar in Scotts Avenue, would cater for all genres. He is a beatboxer and hip-hop artist.

"There are no activities and people are ending up drinking because they are bored," he said.

"We saw a need for live entertainment because it's like everything is being shuttered down. "Come and support this," he said.

"It doesn't matter where you come from – only what you have in your heart.

Blah Ze Blah takes place at Champs in Scotts Avenue, from 7pm to late. For more information please call Khonzaphi at 073 891 1641.
