    Four appear in court for drug possession

    Four men appeared in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court this morning on unrelated drug possession charges.

    Four men appeared in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court this morning on unrelated drug possession charges.

    According to police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender, the men are aged 22, 29, 27 and 42.

    Two of the suspects arrested in Dickerson Street and Bowker Street in Grahamstown by the Crime Prevention Sector members.

    Patrol members stopped a bantam bakkie and found 24.7kg of dagga packed in a brown bag.

    It is not known what the suspect's destination was.

    The fourth suspect was arrested by members of the Alicedale SAPS.
