The Albany Tennis Championships concluded last weekend with the finals of the different age categories taking place at the Kingswood College tennis courts.
The Albany Tennis Championships concluded last weekend with the finals of the different age categories taking place at the Kingswood College tennis courts.
The first championship rounds took place at courts around Grahamstown over the weekend of 25-27 January, with the exciting finals last Sunday.
Age groups represented in the championships were U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. The various winners will make up the Albany side to take on Midlands in Grahamstown on Monday, 11 February.
Matches will start at 8.30am and the singles matches will be played over best-of-three sets.
The venues of Monday’s matches against Midlands are: U10 boys at Victoria Primary School, U12 boys and girls at the Diocesan School for Girls (DSG), U14 boys and girls at Kingswood, U16 boys and girls at Rhodes University, U18 boys at Graeme College and U18 girls at the Grahamstown Tennis Club.
