Grahamstonians have opened their hearts and wallets to give cheerfuly to the Grocott's Mail Christmas Cheer fund in aid of Grahamstown Hospice, which has exceeded the target of R15 000 and is currently sitting at R16 971.05, beating the previous record set in 2008 of R16 668.

Makana residents, organisations and clubs who have not made a contribution but still would like to, are welcome to make a donation by the end of the week. Just pop into the Grocott's Mail offices in High Street or make an online contribution to the fund by finding the GBS Mutual Bank account on the FNB website.
