The two-beast band is back, ready to rock, shock and rumble at Prime this coming Wednesday. Zebra Giraffe are award-winning local artists with three in-studio albums including “The Knife EP” which went international two years ago. The group is already well-acquainted with Grahamstown, having played here before on a number of occasions.

The two-beast band is back, ready to rock, shock and rumble at Prime this coming Wednesday. Zebra Giraffe are award-winning local artists with three in-studio albums including “The Knife EP” which went international two years ago. The group is already well-acquainted with Grahamstown, having played here before on a number of occasions. Lead man Greg Carlin says that they've had some really successful shows here and that the Grahamstown crowd is always great. They are also looking forward to playing at Prime for the first time; the first step on a five-leg journey for the group, who follow their Wednesday gig with consecutive performances in East London, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein before closing off their tour at the “MK by die Dam music festival on Sunday at the Vaal Dam. This will be their final tour as a five-man outfit, with their drummer and bassist hanging up their stripes and spots for good once completed. Cover charge is R30, and the event begins at 8pm.
