The case against two Grahamstown women who allegedly defrauded the Fruit Veg store in Hill Street was postponed yet again in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court on Monday. Linda Ngcete, 34, and her co-accused Unathi Mngqinya, 30, briefly appeared before magistrate Nomnikelo Jebese. According to the charge sheet, the duo defrauded the store, where they were employed as cashiers.

According to the charge sheet, the duo defrauded the store, where they were employed as cashiers. The discrepancies leading to the investigation occurred between December 2010 and February 2011. Both were arrested last April. Jebese postponed the case provisionally to Monday.
