I woke up this morning to find these guys just starting up again at 7am after working until about 4am. They are the relief team for the Makana Council's water section. I know they were working so late as they are working with a very noisy pump.

When I went to sleep with the noise going I must say I was quite irritated and relieved when it stopped in the early hours, but then waking up this morning to the pump starting up again, and seeing what they were doing, I realised these guys have been working through the night. I think that with all the criticism the council gets it's good to celebrate some real dedication.

Apparently another council team opened up the connection and couldn't close it up again, so these guys have been working to fix their colleagues' mistake. They promised to fix the pipe by 9am, so I hope that's going to be realistic.
