The new Central Dining Hall at St Andrew's College opened recently and is the single biggest capital investment in the school's history.

The light, airy and spacious building offers six dining halls located adjacent to a central serving area, allowing all six boarding houses to now eat under the same roof.

After a decade of planning, the finished building was the result of a joint effort by Andrew Thomson of Thembela Architects; Peter May, of KWMH Quantity Surveyors and the joint construction venture of Neels Heunis and Duppie Meyer (CMHDM).

The new facility is also a multi-purpose building with a well-equipped gymnasium, changing rooms and ergo room for the rowing club on the ground floor.
