On behalf of the people of Makana, we say that you join our town when this year we observe its 200th year of existence. You are invited to be part of the events to mark this historic milestone as we reflect on the past events and imagine how the future will be as we strive to make our municipality a great place to be.
We hope your stay will be mutually beneficial for you and the city as we believe “the town and the gown” are interdependent. In the spirit of the 200 Years Project we hope you will seize this opportunity to build bridges of understanding between the communities so that we can all be better citizens of our country.
