The trial of three men who stand accused of killing a local taxi driver will resume at the Grahamstown Regional Court tomorrow.

Phuthumile Diko, 49, his brother Mongameli Diko, 28, and Thanduxolo Simayile, 25, were arrested in connection with the murder of taxi driver Bonakele Mqokeli in August 2010.

The men allegedly kidnapped Mqokeli from his home in Extension 6 and took him to a secluded place in Manley Flats and struck him with a pick handle.

It is alleged that the incident happened after Mqokeli argued with a fourth accused man, Mthobeli Diko, 40, who has since died.

Last year the case was postponed to give two of the men time to apply for a legal aid attorney, and all of the accused are currently out on bail.
