To be a great husband and dad.

If there was one thing that you could change about Grahamstown, what would it be?

The unpredictable weather.

If you could be mayor for a day what would you do?

Buy a huge generator.

Not a chance!

What’s your most embarrassing moment?

Trying to jump over the tennis net after a match in high school to impress the girls – my foot got stuck!

What are you reading at the moment?

“Deception Point” by Dan Brown.

Who are your top three dinner guests?

My 3 boys.

What is your favourite recipe?

Lamb knuckle “Potjiekos”. I was born in the Free State.

What is your favourite CD?

Bach Cello Suites played by Yo-yo Ma.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you take with you?

A bottle of good brandy, a pocket knife and my trumpet.
