Based around five township children abandoned as babies and the woman who raised them, remarkably skilful direction and singing composition brings out the beautiful yet harrowing performances of the young actors. While mostly entertaining, upbeat and full of hope, the dark themes dealt with in the drama are not suitable for children. Perfect for those looking for rich South African stories. RKR
