Adapted from Can Themba's short story about a devoted husband who, having caught his adulterous wife in flagrante, leads her to her own suicide. The play captures the spirit of Sophiatown in a comical yet true-to-form way, with actors playing a wide range of familiar characters. A superb retelling of an old favourite. SJP
