Three men accused of murdering a local taxi driver appeared in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court on Thursday. Phuthumile Diko, 49, Mongameli Diko, 28 and Thanduxolo Simayile, 25, appeared in connection with the murder of Bonakele Mqokeli, near Manley Flats, in August last year.

It is alleged that the victim died after an altercation with the three men and a fourth accused, Mthobeli Diko, 40, who has since died.
